I installed Windows 7 64 but lost my network controller I have a think pad L440 - anyone have a solution?
 
Solution
Go to www.lenovo.com to the support area, find your drivers based on your model there. You need the chipset, audio, video, network and wireless network drivers. You don't have a set of restore disks or a recovery partition on the system? How did you re-install Windows? The factory setup would have had all the drivers for the system you need in it.

Can you check in the device manager and let us know if you see it in there? You might need to install the drivers again. To get to the device manager press the Windows button and R at the same time on your keyboard. A little window will pop up then type in "devmgmt.msc". Go to network adapters and you would normally see 2 devices. One is wireless and the other is NIC.
