Ok, so i recently got a new monitor to setup a dual screen with my first one. One monitor is a samsung 21.5 inch (i think) and the other one is an lg 24 inch.

Since my computer only has one hdmi port, i had to use an hdmi to usb adapter. It worked great and I was able to set up the dual screen.

The problem is however, that i notice the monitor that is NOT set to primary is really slow and laggy whenever I play a video (such as a youtube video) or when I move the window around on my screen. The primary monitor isn't too bad, although there is a little bit of lag (but i think thats just because i dont have the best computer).

My graphics card is a GeForce GTX 660

Any help would be much appreciated!

It's probably the HDMI to USB adapter causing it. a 660 should be able to run both screens just fine. I would suggest getting like a DVI to HDMI adapter or something and running it off of that on the video card instead of USB. USB is wonderful and all, but it's not the same as a video port.
