Sapphire AMD r9 380 2gb Compact or Msi Nvidia gtx 960 2gb

Solution
Hello. R9 380 is better even if it is Compact model. Compact model has nothing to do with performance. Cons of Compact models: Less overclocking results and higher temperature/noise. If you can afford 4GB version - get it. BTW AMD will release new gpu (RX 480) in July/August it will cost around 200$ and it will have performance higher than GTX 970. So if you want you can wait

Hope this helped, have a nice day! :D
I can tell you a couple things about the AMD card. I own a couple of the R9-285 2GB ITX which is the same card just older model. It has dual BIOS switch to run withEUFI or legacy BIOS motherboards. If you need Legacy this makes it more future proof. It's a little thicker than normal 2 slot video cards so you can't Crossfire 2 of them. No airflow into the second card. The Compact card was reviewed with 4GB memory but they don't exist in the wild. Bigger ones can have 4 GB but tend to be more expensive. I have no experiance with the 960 so I don't know what features it may or may not possess. The R9-285 took my old Dell from 37% in firestrike with GTX750Ti to 58% with R9-285.
