Doubling my Graphics Cards- do I need to upgrade my power supply?

So I wanted to buy a second GTX 960 to double my GPU power, but I don't know if I have a strong enough power supply to handle it.
I tried an online power usage calculator and it told me my PC used 231 watts under load (which seems low to me?).
My setup is as follows; a 600W PSU, Gigabyte Ultradurable Motherboard, intel i5 processor, 1 Nvidia GTX 960, three 4GB sticks of RAM, one 120GB solid state hard drive, one 1TB hard drive and an after market fan for my CPU.

I can get the exact specs if necessary, but with this setup can I buy a second GTX 960 without buying a more powerful PSU?

Also, with windows 10 and DX12 when running 2 cards do I need to have 2 of the same card or could I for example have a GTX970 or a GTX980 mixed with my current GTX 960?

Thanks for your help

EDIT: PSU is a Corsair CP-9020048-UK, CX600, 600 W

Solution
Wait a month or two, and buy an RX 480. They will be available with 4GB of memory for $199, or with 8GB of memory for $239. You will then have a single video card that has more power than SLI'd 960's, and still have the option to add a second card in at a later date, if you feel you need more power.

The RX 480 so far is the best deal on the new series of GPU's. Release date is June 29. Everywhere.

The other benefit is that you will not need to worry about needing to upgrade your power supply if you buy the RX480, even if you choose to add a second one at some point.

You can also sell the GTX 960 to someone to help pay for the RX 480.
