Greetings,
I have an HP Pavilion 15 L3S53EA laptop with AMD APU A8 6410 2ghz CPu, an AMD Radeon R7 M260 2GB gpu and 8 gb of ram.
I would like to overclock my cpu and gpu if possible.
Now, I've tried AMD OverDrive where I got a message saying that OverDriver doesn't detect my CPU.
Tried BIOS overclocking but didn't find anything.
How do I overclock my GPU and CPU?

Solution

there is now real way. you will void your warranty.

it's not worth the time, and the very little increase you think you might get isn't worth the hassle.

therein lies the problem. laptops (except for very expensive high end ones) aren't meant to be overclocked. They have a specific thermal envelope, and the PSU is often very limited. If manufacturers allowed OC'ing on regular laptops, sure who would buy the high end machines!?

Unfortunately, you are snookered a bit here, and an OC will not work. You may be able to OC the Mobile GPU but I highly doubt it.

I saw some people actually doing it, althought I know it's not really recommended to do.
I got the laptop from my parents and I just wanna make the most of it.
There has to be a way! Tell me please!!
