Hi,
today my motherboard stopped working so I've decided to finally upgrade my system.
I currenty have an i5 2320 with a shitty h61 motherboard. I have a GTX 660 which i'll update to rx 480 as soon as it comes out to market.
Based on my budget (300 € // 235 £ // 340 USD) i've picked these combinations:
- Intel Core i5-4590 3.3Ghz with Gigabyte GA-B85M-D3H
- Intel Core i5-6600 3.3GHZ with Gigabyte GA-B150M-D3H
- AMD FX-8370 4.0 GHz with Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P

What's the best value-performance?
I can't actually wait for, for example, AMD's zen, because I need the computer now to work.
Thank you!

Yea I'd definitely say the same, go for the i5 4590. Definitely not AMD for performance, especially not an 8 core :) and AMD would be a huge bottleneck with the rx480. The 4590 with an h97 motherboard is perfect :) and it will keep you running meanwhile you wait for the rx480 with it's iGPU. It's a great CPU overall. The 6600 would cost more because you would need an lga1151 chipset motherboard and DDR4 RAM which is not only more parts but more expensive ones.

Here are some parts to consider

Intel i5 4590: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00J2LIFBY/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

ASRock Atx H97 Motherboard...

Yeah i forgot to say that, I dont add the ddr4 ram of the 2nd choice in the budget.
The h61 motherboard is what i had in my build, it's broken so i have to buy new cpu + motherboard.
Thank you.
