Will these to G skill kits work together, or spend 60 and just get a 16 kit.

Question: I have this kit

"G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL8D-8GBXM"

will this work if I add in this kit?

G.Skill 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800 1600MHz Ripjaws Series (9-9-9-24) Dual Channel kit (F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL)

OR should I just get a new 16gb kit and does anyone have an suggestions, dont wanna spend more than 60 to 70 tops.

Hello... Yes it could... they are both 1600 speed... with 4 sticks the RAM voltage will need to be slightly increased if you have problems.

Hello... Yes that would be my FIRST choice... 2x8 16gb is Low cost now... and your other RAM might still work with it B ) 24gb.

But if I have the 2 4gb stix and add 2 8gb stix, will it fuck up anything or lower performance?

Sorry Im a huge techie, but ram is my downfall.

Im sorry but I dont really understand that, slight perf lost doesnt bother me with my rig. I just dont wanna drop 60 on 16gb kit and have it break something or return it.

Full rig is that mobo, 4690K oc to 4.6ghz on water, R9 270X overclocked 133% stable on air, Samsung 850 evo m.2 and some hdds.

Hello... Yes... if you are OC'ng then you want the Same memory sticks working together then 2x8gb... the extra 2x4 could cause problems... and could not B /
