Hello everyone. I am having a problem removing my apu (cpu) from my bga motherboard. I have a rework station and tried heating it off. Any temperature I used would not work. I was sitting there like a idiot for 10 minutes trying to heat the friggin thing off. I even tried force with a screwdriver. I gently tucked it under the apu and tried to pop it off while heating it.. Didn't even budge. This is also the first time I tried doing this. Am I doing something wrong? I would be super happy if someone helped because I am working on this for my friend and he wants it back soon. Thanks!

Why, exactly, do you need to remove that component? It's likely that you've already destroyed either the CPU and/or circuit board. There's a reason there are very expensive, and highly specialized tools for this kind of work.
