I have put together two different pc's one with MSI Raider X99A and the second one with Asus Z170 PRO. But I can't decide between them, which one should I choose for better gaming performance.

The first one is : € 1377,85

Corsair 650W, RM650i, 80+ Gold, Modular

MSI X99A RAIDER

Intel Core i7-5820K (3.3GHz, 15MB Cache, LGA2011-3)

Thermaltake Frio Silent 14, CPU Cooler

Crucial Ballistix Sport LT, 16GB, DDR4, 2400MHz, CL16, Kit of 4

Asus GeForce GTX 970, 4GB, GDDR5, Strix, OC

Western Digital 1TB, 7200rpm, 64MB, SATA III, Blue

The second one is : € 1300,26

Corsair 650W, RM650, 80+ Gold, Modular

Asus Z170-PRO

Intel Core i5-6600K (3.5GHz, 6MB Cache, LGA1151)

Thermaltake Frio Silent 14, CPU Cooler

Kingston 16GB, DDR4, 2133MHz, CL14, Kit of 2, HyperX Fury Black

GeForce GTX 1070 Founders Edition, 8192 MB GDDR5(If it won't take long, waiting for the Asus STRIX)

Western Digital 1TB, 7200rpm, 64MB, SATA III, Blue

Mostly I play Arma 3, which is more a CPU recourse hungry game, from what I've heard - why I've chosen the i7...or not? But the GTX 1070 is quite tempting. The price for both is similar, so the only thing that matters is gaming performance.

Solution
Build 2 is the stronger gamer.
1. The single thread core speeds of the i5-6600K is superior, particularly when overclocked.
Few games will use more than 2-3 threads so a 6 core is not much help.

2. The GTX1070 is a beast, much stronger than a GTX970.

FWIW.
I will never again build without a ssd for the "C" drive. It makes everything you do much quicker.
120gb is minimum, it will hold the os and a handful of games. If you can go 240gb, or 500gb you may never need a hard drive.

I would defer on the hard drive unless you need to store large files such as video's.
It is easy to add a hard drive later.
Samsung EVO is a good choice.

lol, I didn't even notice that I haven't picked the RMi for the second build. Thanks for pointing that out and for the answer.
