my hp deskjet 3050 has stopped printing in color. There is a color cartridge but it is not printing and because of this the printer will not align

New color ink cartridge? HP brand vs some generic cartridge or recycled refill?

Any error messages?

Have you tried any of the maintenance or printhead cleaning features?

Make sure that cartridge is firmly in place, try some cleaning, and then print the test page again.
