How to check AHCI mode?

Hello there!

How do i see if im booting up with AHCI? i got a MSI motherboard and i cant seem to find it in the bios menu. If you could help me out that would be great!

Go into Integrated Peripherals and look under SATA configuration, should be there under SATA mode. :]

it should be in the disk type icon menu I think

Go into your BIOS. ow to do that depends on the motherboard and the BIOS itself.

Once in the BIOS, in the section where storage options are, look for something that says AHCI, and change the entry to ENABLED. Then go to the Exit page in the BIOS, and select SAVE AND EXIT.
