Hello, I am using an Asrock x99 extreme 6 motherboard. Whenever i power on my system I get error message "bd" on the dr debug LCD display. I have 4 memory DMMs installed in slots A1, B1, C1, D1 (corsair vengeance lpx 4x8 (32) CMK32GX4M4A2666C16). I have the display card (EVGA Geforce 970 04G-P4-2974-KR) installed in PCIE slot 1. I have mounted and re-mounted the CPU (intel i7 6800K) including the CPU cooler.

Can anybody assist? When it powers on, I see 19, 60, 19, 60 bd on the dr debug display

Since it doesn't boot, I can't get into the BIOS to update drivers/firmware/etc

Thanks!

Had the same problem when I tried to add another 32 GB to mine. to get it running again, I removed all memory then reinstalled A1 and B1. Then I reset the bios (switch on back by usb port) and fired it up. After resetting all my bios settings it came up and ran fine . Bios showed 2 sticks of DDR4-2400 running in DDR2 mode. While I was in there I tweaked the DRAM voltage up by .25 volts then rechecked everything. After a few hours of running, I shut it down and added C1 and D1. It all came up reported DDR4 and worked fine. I haven't tried to re-add the additional 32GB yet since it is running stable at this point.
