Planning on Buying some new RAM, But not to replace my old RAM, I have a a kit of 2x 4 GB Kingston HyperX DDR3 1866MHz DIMM Wondering if i got the same type of kingston RAM but Different GB size. have 2x 4 GB and have 2x 8GB
So the capacity would be 24GB of RAM

As long as the speed of the ram matches what you already have, and you check that the latency timings are also an exact match to your existing Kingston hyperX 2 x 4 memory sticks.

Then yes you would have 24 GB of memory and it should run fine.
