Hi all, new to the site. ive had my GTX 760 for some time now running on an asus maximus VII (i belive, its been replaced with a z97-pro mobo) and an intel i7 4770 cpu and cx600 PS. around a year ago it simply stopped working in my computer. after a very busy (roughly) i finally got around to trying to figure it out. so heres the situation. my GTX 760 works in the secondary computer. (i dont know all specs on the secondary, its my wifes) the Radeon works perfect in both computers. ive moved the GPU to both slots, nothing. ive reconfigured bios to primary PCI-E. if it matters, the fans spin up on the GPU in my primary computer. the issue is, when i boot up with HDMI in my GPU, the monitor stays black. ive done everything i can think of to alter the way my computer sees my GPU but it just doesnt. in device manager i have to view hidden to see it. everything points to the issue being software of some kind. heres the kicker; i cannot open any of my NVIDIA or GeForce programs. i cannot install new ones and i cannot delete them via program uninstall due to them being "missing". if anyone has any knowledge about what could be going on, please help!
