Hello, I already used the searched and even wrote to the asus support two weeks ago, but still no answer - so youre my last hope.
I have an Asus Z87K mainboard, a ssd with win7 on it, and a hdd. Now I have got an live usb stick with TailsOS on it, and on other pcs the stick works perfectly fine.
However, when I enter the bios and want to force a boot from the stick, something strange happens.
The screen turns black, and a white, blinking "_" appears - not unlike on a cmd.exe. After 2 seconds however, the screen turns really black, and then windows starts.... Sometimes, the screen with the cmd.exe appears twice, before windows starts.
I have uefi disabled and legacy enabled.
What can I do?

It's already stated on their site that you should consider yourself lucky if the OS boots up at first go:

Might I ask what the specs for your other machine's that ran TailsOS without a hitch were? On a second note, I'm not very familiar with Deutsche but you may yet be within UEFI mode. On a third note, you may want to disable secure/fast boot and see if any changes occur.
