I have a problem with my GTX 970 and i do not really know what to do or how to fix it, here is what has happened.
I hadn't used my PC for a few months other than once or twice in between and have started gaming on it again but keep having this issue where a few minutes into playing the screen would turn off and my monitor would say no signal. To get it back on i have to restart the computer, at first i ignored it and tried playing again and the same thing happened so i just turned it off and left it but i came back to it today and removed my graphics drivers, made sure all the power cables were in fine on the GPU, re-installed the drivers and tried again. It lasted a bit longer, around 10 minutes but then it happened again so i started looking around google to find a solution.
I saw a few threads about an overheating graphics card so i used MSI Afterburner and recorded the temps of the graphics card when i started playing. (ARMA 3 was the game i was playing). It did the same thing but i didn't even get to playing it did it on the start screen.

As you can see in this image, the temps do not go above 40 but the GPU Power went extremely high before it switched off, i'm not an expert but i don't think this is normal at all. I am hoping the graphics card is not dead as i have only had it around 2 years...
Any help you guys can give would be greatly appreciated
