I am planning on buying the NZXT H440. I am wondering how well the stock case fans perform. Do i need to replace those with aftermarket ones, or are they good enough to keep the temps somewhat low?

Also, how is cablemanagement in this case?

Sorry for the late reply. I'm surprised no one else has helped you yet. I have the H440 (pics and info in my signature) and I love it. The stock fans work just fine. They aren't flashy and they can't be compared to something like a Noctua, but they are still pretty good. Don't bother replacing the stock fans unless you want different ones for aesthetic reasons. I did replace mine, but only because I had a specific theme I was going for. I keep my stock fans as a backup, or perhaps to use in another build.

Cable management in the H440 is good, but not great. Some cases give you tons of room to leave the cables just hanging around wherever you want. Some people just don't care what the back of their motherboard looks like, so they just...

Cable management in the H440 is good, but not great. Some cases give you tons of room to leave the cables just hanging around wherever you want. Some people just don't care what the back of their motherboard looks like, so they just stuff the cables in and put the panel on. You can't do that with the H440. The back panel (as well as the other panels) has sound dampening foam on the inside, and it forces you to have good cable management. It's important to get all the cables as flat as possible on the back of the motherboard. Thankfully NZXT designed this case with plenty of tie down locations, so it's not that hard to get everything flat if you take your time and tie everything down. The bottom basement (where the power supply sits) offers plenty of extra space, so you could coil up any extra cable slack and push it down there. Overall I would give the H440 a 7 out of 10 for cable management.

A late reply indeed, thanks anyways though :) I'm using for about 3 weeks now and I completely love the case.

I bought 2 Corsair AF120mm LED with it becuase I was able to get them dirt cheap. As for right now, I have the 2 aftermarket fans at the top front and at the middle front, a stock fan at the bottom front and a stock fan at the top front. Those 4 fans are all intake.

As for exhaust, the stock 140mm fan is at the back of the case and the last stock fan is at the top back of the case.

The front bottom one doesn't really do anything as all the air is blocked by the cables and the PSU shroud anyway, so im planning on moving that to the top middle spot. I haven't yet decided wether it'll be intake or exhaust though.

As for cable management I'd say it's pretty good (for a first time building a PC that is..). Didn't have any trouble with it.

Your build looks gorgeous dude... Like wow.. Was it a sponsered build?!?

Thanks! I wish it was sponsored LOL. I knew I wanted the cutouts, but I didn't want to do something too personal like my name or something. That would have been awkward. And I didn't want the cutouts to be something about the parts I used because if I ever changed them, that would be awkward too. So I just went with the case brand and model which turned out pretty nice.

It's a single GPU. The Galax GTX 970 Hall of Fame.

The slotted thing underneath it is a GPU support. That particular GPU is very thick and heavy, so a GPU support helps it stay level instead of sagging.

Overall the white theme and the mods did add some expense to it. Being able to sit at my desk and admire it while I play made it all worth it though.

If it's only 1 gpu, what is the other thing in the pci bay?

Yup! I find it funny how many people are okay with it though. You would think for how much we spend on these machines you would want it to look good LOL.

Very true indeed. In about 4 weeks I'll have gathered enough money for the GTX 1070 ;) I really can't wait to get my hands on it. I'm not quite sure which version im gonna get tho, kinda aming for the Strix
