Ways to improve my build

This is the build i currently have.

Intel Core i5-4690K
MSI B85M-E45, Socket-1150
ASUS GeForce GTX 970 4GB Turbo
HyperX Fury DDR3 1600MHz 16GB
Corsair CX600M, 600W PSU

I'm really not into this stuff so I'm wondering if anyone can answer if theres any parts i should upgrade now or in the near future? Is there any part holding the others back or anything like that.

Hi,
I would recommend you to get a z97 motherboard and overclock your CPU. but you say you are not into this stuff so I would recommend you to get someone who can do it or take your time and watch some overclocking guides on youtube.
another thing you could do is upgrade your storage configuration, I would recommend a m.2 ssd (if you upgrade your motherboard).

I would switch out the motherboard to a Z97 so you can overclock that 4690K. Having that paired with a low end B85 motherboard defeats the purpose of owning one. I'd also switch out the power supply for something much better like an EVGA G2 or Seasonic X.

Yes, msi is a great brand, just make sure the motherboard size is Compatible with your case. That one you linked was atx. If your case is atx go for it.
What is your storage configuration, btw?

A 120 GB SSD and a 1TB hard drive.
