Hello,
Built a computer and installed a new GTX 770 2 years ago. The computer and the card has served me well until now. However, as of late, one of the GTX 770 fans has been floundering and not spinning as fast as its sister fan. (You can tell just by looking at it.) Furthermore, sometimes the fan does not spin at all when you boot up the machine unless you nudge and give it a headstart with your finger. Thankfully, once the fan gets going, it keeps going.
I want to know what this means and if there is any way I can fix the fan before the whole thing fails? Is this the natural order of things? Or do I just need to put some lubricant? I'm sure replacing just the fan, if you can at all, would be a nightmare.
Thanks! -SuicuneSol
