Hello, so my problem is with my connectivity to my Xbox. It used to be downstairs in my living room next to my router so I could play wired because for some reason it would never let me play online games like CoD, Battlefield, ect without lagging a lot. But now that I moved it into my room I stil have that same problem so I need to play wired and I'd prefer not to run an Ethernet cable throughout my entire house. Should I buy I repeater? I was looking at the NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1900 Desktop WiFi Range Extender. Would this allow me to get my wifi signal to the Nighthawk then plug an Ethernet from the nighthawk to my Xbox? Thank you

The ethernet cable is the best answer even if you don't like the answer. Next is probably powerline network adapters and last would be a wireless bridge.

Bit confused about what is going on, you said when you were on a wire you would get lag, then you moved the system and are still getting the same lag. So how will connecting a cable help you if you had the same issue before and now also?
