Windows won't start after BIOS flash

Specs:
Intel 2600K Sandy Bridge OC'd @ 4.2GHz
Mobo: ASrock P67 Extreme4 Gen 3
16 GB RAM
MSI GeForce GTX 970
Windows 10
2 HDDs, both connected via SATA

This morning, I tried to do some editing in After Effects, but my computer was a bit sluggish. I checked the CPU usage in the Task Manager, and it was stuck at 100%. I googled it and apparently it was a BIOS issue with my mobo conflicting with Windows 10, which I thought was weird considering that it has been running great for a couple months since I upgraded to 10. But of course, being the idiot that I am, I updated the BIOS to 2.20, and now Windows won't start at all. It gives me a INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE error, and demands a restart. I've tried resetting the CMOS, changing the settings in the BIOS re: boot devices and SATA settings, but nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

I've read on some forums that it may be a Sandy Bridge conflict, and that I may be screwed, either having to pay ASrock for a new BIOS chip (which I have no experience replacing) and wait around a month for it to arrive, or just suck it up and buy a new mobo/cpu.

I really need my computer back up and running as I have an editing assignment coming in the next few days.

Yeah, same issue.

maybe try reflashing back to an older bios? or try to use a usb stick to start windows setup?

How do I go about doing that? My Windows 10 upgrade was a download.

Version 2.20 fixed a couple issues, but Windows 10 didn't exist 4 years ago; therefore it can't fix a compatibility issue with it.

That BIOS description is:
1. Add Dehumidifier Function.
2. Modify for Windows8 shut down behavior.

Are the drives detected in the BIOS? Does it boot from a DVD or a USB dongle?

They are. I don't have a disc or USB to boot from yet. Working on that now.

Updating a BIOS version returns all settings to default values. You should write down all the settings before flashing the BIOS.

INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE error can be caused by using the default SATA storage setting. Most people use AHCI.

Storage setting options:
Configuration options: [IDE Mode], [AHCI Mode], [RAID Mode] and [Disabled]. The default value is [IDE Mode].

AHCI (Advanced Host Controller Interface) supports NCQ and other new features that will improve SATA disk performance but IDE mode does not have these advantages.

Yeah, I made sure to note all of the settings beforehand, and I changed them back to what I had before, including AHCI. I tried to do it as by the book as possible, but I still got screwed.
