So I got my hands on a dual rail modular PSU (BeQuiet! Pure Power 9) with four 6+2 pin cables, two for each port on the PSU. I know nothing about multi-rail PSUs so I was wondering, does it matter which of the PSU ports I use to plug my graphics card in? I'm basically wondering if it's possible to plug everything on one rail and overloading it. My card is a 970 factory OCd.
And yes, I already know I need to plug it into the PCIe port. The thing is, I have two PCIe ports on my PSU, I only need to use one. Does it matter which one I use?
Note: I already asked this question before and selected a best answer accidentally coz I though clicking the green button on my email would just send me to the thread - nope. And yes, next time I'll read the big green button before clicking it.
