Wireless card won't work after switching PCI-E slots

I just bought a new graphics card which I'm using in SLI. My networking card, however, was in the PCI-E port which is now in between the graphics cards, so I had to move it. I had an open one (PCI-E 1), so I put it there. My graphics cards are working fine, but now my networking card isn't. I would have thought that that slot must just be dead, but there is a light on the card which is on. I looked in BIOS, and the board isn't seeing the card, despite powering it. Worst case scenario, I could move the card below my GPUs, but I'd rather just get this port working. Any ideas?

The board is an ASRock Fatal1ty z97x. I don't know the model number of the card on hand, and I don't have any way of finding it without taking the card out and looking at it (I can't see the number without taking it out), but the important thing is that the card was working.
