I currently have an HP Pro 3500 prebuilt PC with an i5-3470 (3.2GHz), 8gb DDR3 1600MHz and an R7 250.
I feel like I am due a GPU upgrade and when Nvidia unveiled the GTX1070 I thought that card was perfect... Then I seen the price.
So I was pleasantly surprised when AMD unveiled their RX480 which actually is in my price range!

So my question is whether or not it will fit in my case, my actual specifications are more than enough to support it, I think (upgraded PSU) but I am unsure about my case as I do my have a way of measuring it other than a ruler, which isn't very accurate.
Also I am unable to upgrade my case due to space constraints.

Currently the PSU in the system is the stock 300W, but don't worry, when I purchase the card I will also be buying the Seasonic S12-II 620W, so it's a great power supply.

That should work really well then. However If you find a blower style 480 that would be even better because I can see that the case doesn't have the best ventilation. A normal style cooler will also work just fine.

I don't plan on overclocking it for while, so I think that a normal cooler would be fine, but isn't the stock 8GB RX480 blower style anyway? That is the one that would be the cheapest anyway.

Yes it is. Sorry I was thinking about another card that looked like it but was an open design :p.

I ended up going for a slightly bigger card which I needed to modify the case to put in, if you are worried about it I would suggest purchasing a bigger case as the motherboard is a regular mATX size.

Yep, it's fits perfectly. The motherboard says that it is UATX but that is just another name for MATX so that means that the motherboard will fit into any case that supports a MATX motherboard. Mine is currently in a Coolermaster Masterbox 5 Lite and I had no problems assembling it.
