Hello, I have 28 PCI lane processor (5820K) with the following setup.

2-Way SLI GTX 970 G1 Gaming
Samsung Pro 950 NVMe
Asus STX II sound card

All of these use PCI slots but i am wondering in which slots should i use them since the manual isn't clear to me.

Edit: I know that the SLI goes into slot 1 and 3. That means 2 4 and the black slot remains. Which one should be for m.2 and which one should be for the soundcard

Correct config:

Slot 1:gtx 970
Slot 2: sound card
Slot 3: gtx 970
Slot 4: LEAVE OPEN

Install the M.2 drive in the M.2 slot next to the RAM slots.
PCIE Slot 4 shares bandwidth with slot 4, so make sure you keep that empty.

In BIOS go to Onboard Device Config and set the PCI Express X8_4 slot to M.2.
Also make sure you BIOS is fully updated before M.2 install.
