I have a Asus Z97-K currently and with some new 3D software packages I wanted to get more system memory to help speed these applications up. I just bought this motherboard with 32 GB's of ram a year ago. Right now I'm noticing that I could use more. I'm looking for a motherboard capable for 128GB of available memory and using the system memory I have.

So your looking for a 16 memory slot DDR3 motherboard for Unbuffered Memory?

I think you would be better off looking for a server motherboard that uses LRDIMM (Load Reduced Dual-inline Memory Modules) or Registered Modules. ECC (Error Correcting Code) Memory in Servers also prevents Data Corruption. You should also specify what your preferred operating system would be.

Calvin 7:

Currently using Windows 10, I want to go back to windows 7 Pro. Windows 10 allows for larger amounts of system memory.
Currently the applications in question are 3Ds Max 2016, zbrush, Substance Painter 2.0
