Hey guys,
So recently I bought a new router ( a 2nd hand Virgin Media superhub ) to go in my bedroom, anyway I connect everything up and it's working brilliantly, apart from one thing, every half an hour or so the upload will cut out, but the download carry's on working, so when I'm playing world of tanks for example I can't control my tank at all, but I can still see other players moving around and firing, then in DOTA 2 I will freeze in place for 20 seconds or so whilst watching everyone else play normally, and in these "bugs" my voice also cuts out for others on teamspeak, whilst I can hear everyone, it's quite a strange problem and I was wondering if anyone has had it before, I have already tried a master reset.

I actually had this exact issue (though no where near the same hardware). I would be playing -insert game here- and for about 3-20 seconds I would lag up, yet others in game movement and voip would work just fine. Though no one could hear me, and if they could it was very fragmented. I'd either pick up where I left off in the game or I'd get disc'd due to the connectivity issue.

I did a prior post about this just today, so far the only thing that anyone had mentioned was the DHCP renew that is decided by your router - in cmd enter

ipconfig /all | find "Lease"

See what the margin is between when your lease was obtained and when it expires, I was told the renew typically happens about halfway between once its obtained and when it...

Idk, I've had your problem for a long time and since I changed mine I haven't ran into that issue again for hours.
