Hi, I'm looking to purchase the best GPU for my existing system with a budget of 100$. I'm working on a tight budget so I'll be just looking for a GPU that fits my current system.

Can anyone recommend me the best GPU for my system with my budget?

Cheers

P.S

Here are my specs for my system

Processor: Intel Core i3 4130
Mainboard: Gigabyte H81M - DS2
Power Supply : Power Logic Magnum Pro 225X (450W)
RAM: 2GB Samsung PC3 12800
OS: Windows 10

Solution

gtx 750 ti

or a gtx 950

I really dont trust that power supply with anything higher

it looks like a prebuilt. its up to you if you want a better PSU. those are dangerous. you can also add some RAM. to 8GB.

anyways you might want to wait until the end of the month for the new RX 460/470. those come in at 100$ and are only 75w cards. it performs great though. better than a GTX 950. honestly wait. getting used isn't worth it as much for your system.

you can pick up used cards, I mean PSU though. used 950s, R7 360s, used Hd 7850s,
but PSU issues

If I were you I would wait for the RX460, it will have extremely low power consumption as well as an extremely low price tag, there have been rumors of it being as low as $79 for the 2gb model! And like Ryan_78 said you should probably get more ram, 2gb isn't nearly enough for manygames/programs today.

Right, noted, more RAM is necessary, thanks guys

Anyway, I am based in Indonesia ( it takes forever for newly released electronic products to arrive here.) So the RX 460 which will be released this June in the US might take 6 months - 1 year until it is released in my country.

Assuming that I can't wait that long :), any other recommendations for GPU already available in the market?

Cheers guys

I dont know where you saw the 450w, but that sells as a 250w PSU as far as i know. and it only has 120w on the +12 rail. Could you post the PSU +12v specs just to double check. Unless i'm wrong i'd get a new PSU. Then for the GPU it would depend on your budget and what resolution you want to run.

You never go with a peak power PSU. Anyone a little experienced will know those are not reliable and could fail you anytime. You can only use the 225w as a reference.
So I mean you don't want a GPU in that system with that PSU. The i3 and mobo will use up most of the power.

Hi everyone, sorry I have just been back

Allright, thing to note here is I'll need a new PSU to replace my crappy one, any good recommendations for a sufficient PSU which is just enough for the system? I guess for now I'll take the Zotac's GTX 750ti 2GB for my system's GPU

The best option would be a xfx TS 430w if you can get one.
