Is the Asus Pro Gaming Z170 Have support for thunderbolt technology. I am review answers on google. not getting much. Can this support Thunderbolt Pci as i am looking to purchase a Virtual Reality Headset for the pc. I currently own a

Intel i5 6500 3.2ghz

The USB3.1 type-C port is powered by an ASMedia controller. Were it powered off Intel's chipset then you could've taken advantage of it. In short - no it doesn't have Thunderbolt support. If you went with an add-on Thunderbolt card then you'd be having support for a VR headset though the main question would be that your system would be lacking in VR capability due to a need for a beefier GPU. Depending on your headset, if you went with a GTX1000 series GPU you wouldn't need the Thunderbolt(III) add-on card.
