I'm looking for a wifi router for a small coffee shop. It needs to be as simple and straight-forward as possible...I realize a bit more complicated set up (multiple routers/switches/access points/controllers/servers) will easily meet my needs, but if possible I'd like to have a single home/soho device that can do this:

Staff wired & wifi networks for less than 5 devices
Guest wifi network will serve less than 15 users at a time over a relatively small area
Need QoS / bandwidth/port management on guest network
Need time controls on guest network (able to schedule time it's on or off)
Stability/durability is important

Any suggestions?

Agreed. I have an ASUS RT-AC68R router, and it has all the functions required by the OP.

I'd go with a good Asus model. It doesn't have to be the latest or fastest, just an AC model that fists your budget. and is fast enough for your internet service. The main decision will be reconciling just what you want out of QOS with what the router actually does. Other manufacturers might be as good, but I've had such good performance from my Asus, that I recommend them for their "simple and straight-forward as possible" to use approach.

This model or something similar will do what you need, and for a decent price. I think the RT-AC66U would do a similar job (it's just not quite as fast, but certainly fast enough for what you need). Even the RT-AC56R/U models would do. Ignore the R and U on the model names, that's just packaging differences.
