Cant install windows 7 from usb

Hi and thank you for helping

So i have a 16gb sandisc usb flashdrive and i've put windows 7on it but when i put the usb in my pc to install it i dont go to bios nothing happens but when i take out the usb and start it up it goes directly to my bios i have just put my computer together these are my specs
Cl haf x
Asus maximus viii hero
Asus geforce gtx 740
I7 6700k
Noctua nh d15

Please help

How did you make the usb drive bootable?

I would start with the microsoft tool
Is your bios actually UEFI ?

I would expect both uefi sandisc and Sandisc to be reported by uefi bios and you can choose either one to boot from

Which one works depends on bios settings

Is hdd bigger than 2 TB?
Finally was usb in usb 2 or usb 3 port
Usb 2 is recomended unless win 8 or 10 used
