windows 7 pro 64 bit sp1 iso

Solution
The download from Microsoft is retail, your key will not work with it. OEM requires that you obtain your media from the computer manufacturer, or whomever supplied the original media.

Hi thanks for replying. I don't have a windows product key so i can't download the iso from microsoft but if i had a product key for that windows would i be able to use the key on any windows 7 64 bit sp1 or is the key only for the specific disc given with the code?

Any Win 7 'download' that does not come direct from Microsoft is suspect.

But first, you need a license key for this.

1. Do you have a valid license key?
2. When you go to Microsoft and try to access the download for an ISO, what happens?
Go here and try: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows7

What happens?

Yes i do have a key but it is from a MAR edition i bought from Amazon so when i try to use it on microsoft it tells me it is already pre installed on a system so i cannot use it. I am just trying to find out if i download an iso the same version as i had on disc would i be able to use my key?
