My computer can run both Battlefield 4 and DayZ just fine most of the time. I can run BF Multiplayer on high settings and have consistently over 40 FPS most of the time but I do get frequent drops of FPS into the mid to low 20s. As for DayZ I can run it on very low settings but I do know that that game is very hard to run for a lot of people because it is very poorly optimized.
I am looking to eliminate the FPS drops and to run DayZ better because I play both of those games very frequently. I have the money to upgrade to whatever I need to keep consistent high FPS. Is the problem my CPU or my Graphics Card? Which one should I upgrade to run the games better? Both?
