I am a Gears of War fan and I have an Xbox One with GoW: Ultimate Edition and the entire Xbox 360 collection of Gears games installed on my Xbone (you may recall that Microsoft had a deal last year where you could get all the old 360 titles for free if you logged into Xbox Live and played GoW: UE before the end of the year, pretty sweet deal since I didn't own any of the games at the time).
From what I understand, the PC version of GoW: UE didn't have a great launch, with people complaining about issues such as not being able to play at ultrawide resolutions, being forced to record gameplay with MS's DVR app, the game not liking specific GPUs etc.
I really enjoy the GoW series and I am quite interested in playing the PC version due to the potential for modding, improved visuals, dedicated servers etc. However, I am also aware that the game has had a good number of problems with it, and would like to know what some of these problems may be, or even if they have been addressed yet.
In short, do you guys think it is worth it for someone who owns GoW: UE on Xbox One, to go ahead and buy the PC version of GoW: UE or not?
