Hello everyone,

My gaming pc that I built about 6 months ago has suddenly been running very slow. Games I play frequently run very slow like CS GO and another game I frequently play, H1Z1 will just flatout not run sometimes. The pc has run perfectly up until yesterday when it started running really slowly. It is not just games the entire computer is just very slow. All of my drivers are up to date and my temps and CPU usage seem to be fine.

Also I have not overclocked anything.

I would really appreciate any help!

Thats bizzare. Either the temperature sensors are all completely broken, or your Processor straight out isn't running at full speed, but even then it should do something.

Can you run msconfig and check the boot tab, then click advanced make, sure memory limit and number of processors is unchecked. Also go into Power settings in control panel and make sure the system is set to high performance, then try again (just try 1 game, you will know).

I checked my task manager and everything appears to be normal, with nothing besides chrome open my disk % is 0 and my memory is 24% and cpu 1% since im not really doing anything. I also went ahead and ran a virus scan and nothing came up. So I decided to try to reset my PC to factory and the problem is still here. I have noticed my pc is a bit faster than before I reset but still not what it should be and games are still difficult to play as I am getting 30fps on ultra when I normally would get 75 or so. My temperatures for my cpu and gpu are CPU: 24 C and GPU: 39 C when not playing anything.

Thanks a ton for your help, and sorry for the late response I was away for a week.

Ok so I just tested it with HW monitor and it was still the same while playing h1z1 and then tested it again with csgo my cpu package temperature was value of 27 C, min 26, and max 28 c. Those are under load for sure.
