After following the checklist by ‘shortstuff_mt’ this computer still won’t show any indication of POST and will not output to video. All the following parts are new and were shipped together:

MOBO: Gigabyte 970A-D3P
CPU: AMD FX-8320
GRAPHICS : EVGA GTX 960 4GB
RAM: HyperX Fury (2x8gb) 1866 Mhz
PSU: EVGA 700B

During the time I built this I was in a rush, so I didn’t have time breadboard. I usually do breadboard, but I skimped out on it at the time. After installing everything into the case, I turned the power on and all the fans worked. Having to go I didn’t check if it put out display or even POST’d, and just assumed it all worked. Going back to it a few days later I realized it didn’t… Taking out all of the parts from the case I tried everything. First I left everything the same, but outside the case to check for any shorts. Then I took out one stick of RAM, and put it in each slot. Then I reseated the cpu. Then I took out all of the RAM. (I basically did everything the post by ‘shortstuff_mt’ said) After each of these I tested to see if it POST’d.

At the end I realized I didn’t hear any beep codes! The system speaker is installed correctly, so my current conclusions are 1) MOBO bad or 2) PSU bad. What do you guys think?

Edit: Fixed spelling

I have the same problem, my pc also turns on by itself when plugged in O_O. But I'm 90% sure its my mobo as I tried another psu and the motherboard still turned on by itself
