I couldn't run my game ( Smite ) after installing an AVG Anti-Virus software, it says " The application was unable to start correctly (0xc00000005) ", but when I restart my PC, the application starts correctly.

Does anyone know the reason behind this? and how to fix it?

Its due to Smites outgoing servers, and AVG, (Being AVG), thinks that it might be a 'harmful' program due to the outgoing and incoming data via servers.(Basically, multiplayer is what is causing this.) You could try to make Smite an exeption via AVG.

I disabled AVG Temporarily and the application started correctly.

Does anyone know the reason behind this? If so please explain it to me.

Also, What can I do to fix this? is there any settings that I should change in my Ant virus software?
