My stock voltage seems really high or is it just me?

I am running an i7 6700k @stock speeds...
My mobo is an asus z170 pro graming.
Ram is gskill 3000 running with xml profile at the 3000mhz.
my cooler is an Noctua u14S with an added 2nd cpu fan. (those temps btw, are from regular gaming only, to me they seem a little high for stock speeds cpu, but maybe not? - room temperature is 25)

Temps seem about right for that CPU and cooler at 25degC ambient, however it's not clear what fan profile you have either which makes a difference, and of course the GPU can add some heat so don't expect to match the same results as testers online.

The CPU can go up to about 100degC before throttling (at least Haswell and Ivy could) though Intel recommends somewhere in the 70's for maximum life of the CPU.

I'm guessing the voltage isn't being reported correctly, or else the BIOS bumped up the voltage for some reason. Not sure why as you are at stock frequency.

Some motherboards apply different voltages than others. You'd have to go back in and check, apply default CPU/XMP settings and see what changes.

Maximum reported (which may not be accurate) was 1.44V so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Thank you for the response.

I'm running asus "Turbo" profile for the fans (if that makes any sense), through they're throttling according to temps of course. I'll check the bios to see, but yes I am pretty sure it was set at that by default.

Temps remain between 68-73 while running prime95 v26.6 for 10 minutes.

Do you think an overclock to about 4.5 or so would be fine with those temps?

I have exactly the same issue as well.

I have an i7 6700k which I've left stock with an NXZT AIO cooler and the voltage on my CPU goes up to 1.375 or something high even though I've set everything to stock including adaptive voltage with no overclock.

I looked around everywhere for an answer and I've concluded that the reporting on AISuite and CPU-Z are displaying an incorrect voltage.
