Hey there folks, Its my first time posting on this forum. First of all I am a novice when it comes to setting up bios concerning ram speeds etc. I have recently purchased (2x4Gb) G.skill F3-10666CL9D-8GBXL to upgrade my old (2x2gb) corsair sticks. But I am pretty sure my BIOS is still setup for the old ram which is a lower rate/end ram.

I looked at all the specifications and compability of the ram corresponding to my motherboard and CPU before purchasing this. But the problem is I put in the two new set of rams and I boot up my pc an error appears saying IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

operating system - Windows 10

RAM Specs: DDR3-1333 mhz 1.5V

My current motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3

CPU - Intel i5-650 3.20 ghz

So I am seeking help concerning setting up my bios to the right specs/voltage and timing for the new ram that I have purchased. btw sorry if I include uncessary stuff I really dont know anything about cmos

Current BIOS setup
channel A / B
tcL 9
tRCD 9
tRP 9
tRAS 24
tRRD 4
tWTP 21
tRFC 174
tCMD 2

memory frequency - 1332.85 mhz (10x) but the smp is set to 1333 but it shows 1332.85 mhz which is lower is that okay?

DRAM voltage - 1.584 V

My system memory multiplier is already set to its highest peak which is 10.0 (1333) but it still doesnt seem to work it gives me the same error

I am more than happy to wait for your responses thank you.

You can remove and reinstall your CMOS battery / jumper, it will reset your BIOS.

Hello... Let's try a proper "battery removal" AND CMOS reset Clear to the MB ...ok? B /
Take your time here and be slow and careful to your MB... look in your MB manual/Pdf for pictures and location of the SW/pins. B )
1) un-plug PS from wall.
2) remove MB battery
3) place jumper pins/switch on MB to clear the capacitors... for ~3 mins
4) remove Jumper/switch
5) re-install battery
6) plug monitor into the MB video output.
8) plug in PS to wall
9) Boot computer.

But the weird thing is mr iron, The timing of the bios is set up to the recommended timing for the ram and that is 9-9-9-24 what could possibly be the problem? is it the bios or the drivers?

Si, there is a display and a boot but it doesnt boot up all the way to the login screen it quickly goes straight to the error and restarts itself
