need expert advise what else i need for my pc as a video editor

i am a video editor and not a simple video editor i work on loads so it requires heavy ram and cpu to render scenes so i need more help to imporove pc

and i have a normal hd monitor and playing on 1080 is ok for me , can i max any games out ?
not 4k gamer

Gigabyte makes good motherboards, Z170X Gaming 5 is a good choice. Asus are great too, get the Z170-A or Z170 Gaming...they will perform EXACLTY the same except the Z170 Pro Gaming has "Gaming" features which wont increase performance. "Gaming" is just branding/marketing. So get the Gigabyte Z170X Gaming 5, Asus Z170-A or Asus Z170 Pro Gaming. If...

Your build looks good, If you are`nt on a hurry...you should wait for AMD RX480 because it gives similar or better performance compared to GTX 980. Also why not switch your motherboard for a ATX?
