I think I know the answer, but I'd appreciate if someone could confirm for me.
I'm sending my motherboard to be tested as I think a couple of the RAM slots are now faulty. I had Windows 7 which received the free upgrade to Win 10.
I've swapped out the old mobo and put in the new. It all powers up fine, but then heads straight into the BIOS.
It can see the two HDD's that I have connected, but when I select to boot to the one with the OS on, it just reloads the BIOS screen.
I'm currently downloading a Win 7 ISO (I have the disc somewhere, can't find it now, but also have the code) as I'm thinking I maybe need to run a repair? Or will I need to reinstall? (Not a problem, things are backed up)
I assume I need to reinstall Win 7 and take the free upgrade again?
