Hey everybody! I have a Dell Precision T3400, with sight modifications, I bought it second-hand.
The specs are:
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
Nvidia Geforce GTX 8800
6GB DDR2 Memory (2x2GB, 2x1GB)
Stock Motherboard (I don't know what it is)
Stock Dell PSU (525W)
150GB HDD

I am planning to upgrade to 750Ti, as my pc keeps crashing when I try to play games, specifically when I join a match or just something where the gpu should do heavier work, I found out that it uses around 280W under load. So is this config going to bottleneck the 750Ti?

a gtx 750 ti is a good gpu, very nice upgrade for you

are you using adapters for the pcie plugs on that gtx 8800?

the better 750 ti's only need a single 6-pin

hopefully your psu has at least 6-pin

if it doesn't, make sure you buy a 750 ti specifically that does not need one

I'm pretty sure I do have 6 pin, but is this going to solve the psu problems?
