Will these components work together?

Solution
So, following our long conversation, here is what can be done to improve the build:
1. Arctic Liquid freezer 240 instead of Corsair
2. Non founders edition card - both cheaper and better. The price should come down in the next week or two as availability increase.
3. The below SSDs are better suited for the high end system but not must:
3.1 This is smaller one 256GB : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA12K...
3.2 This is larger one 512GB: https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-SM951-512GB-AHCI-MZHPV51...
4. I'd prefer Fractal Design Define S if you have no use for 5.25" bays.
Your build is surprisingly good.
I'd pick a different case (Fractal Design Define S). But I also prefer Asus MB :)
And the only real suggestion is SSD. Instead of 2.5", get M.2 NVMe like Samsung 951. They cost more, but they are so much faster ! If you have budget problems, decent air cooler will save a bit.

You are correct about the boot time, but application load time and disk intensive tasks within OS are noticeably faster.
