Hi Guys,
As the title says, my system is freezing randomly and I don't see a pattern whatsoever. If I recall this right, it started happening when I was playing a game using PS4 controller (connected to my PC using bluetooth and InputMapper tool). It's a USB bluetooth dongle which I have then plugged-out thinking it could be the culprit, but the issue remains.
Sometimes, the PC runs for hours without any issues, others, it just freezes within minutes. When it freezes, I can't move my mouse or use the keyboard. the picture on monitor stuck as well.
Parts list
ASRock FM2A88M EXTREME4+ Micro ATX FM2+ Motherboard
AMD Athlon X4 860K 3.7GHz Quad-Core Processor
G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal HDD
NVIDIA GeForce GT210
Corsair 200R ATX Mid Tower Case
Corsair 500W PSU.
It's a new build. out of all the components listed above, the only thing that's old (used part) is the GPU. I have got this out of local market and it's a used product. I have run memtest tool in windows and it didn't return any errors. Based on my research, it could be the GPU, but I wanted to be sure, so posting this topic for expert input. Thank you for any pointers.
