Hey guys,

I currently have a Micro-ATX Tower and am looking to replace the intel stock cpu cooler. My motherboard model is GA-P55M-UD2 and am running an Intel i5 CPU 750.

When gaming, I used Speedfan and was looking at the core temps and they range 70-78 degrees celsius. I believe that is a little on the more warmer side and feel that it should be lower. Also, my fan runs a little fast at 3000+ RPM. I'm not sure what case I have.

I was wondering if anyone can suggest a good cpu cooler for a good price that will most likely fit in a Micro-ATX tower.

Thanks. Have a good one.

First thing I have to say is clean up the OUTSIDE and the INSIDE of the case.
That looks like a classic 180mm width case. I think you won't be able to fit the EVO212 in there. Still would recommend you to go for the low profile cooler or you know, upgrade the case.

First check with other monitoring softwares to see your current one isn't lying. If it's the same then try to change the thermal paste on the cpu cooler.

How about a pic of the case so we can recognise the case? That way we can know if you can fit the 212 EVO in there.
If you don't wanna go through that trouble. I recommend either buying the Noctua NH-L9I or investing into a cpu watercooler and using it in your next build.

I'm not quite sure what the model is. It is several years old.
