Ok I break my earbuds every 3 months or so some how they stop working when I need them. So I just thought make them wireless so you can't break the cord done right? Well you see I don't know if Bluetooth is good for gaming or just general use so if you know please tell me because I am all out of idea's and I don't want to pay $100 dollars for a wireless headset?

the plus side of wireless is that you have no wires to break which certainly makes it convenient.

the downside is that you have to deal with batteries going dead in the middle of playing, the cost of replacement batteries when they go bad and in some cases a bit of audio lag or connections dropping.

can you use one for gaming? sure. there are plenty of people who use wireless for gaming. that comes with both good and bad points though.

Bluetooth headsets are extremely pricey for a high quality set. Be prepared to shell out $150+ if you want a set that provides good audio in addition to a microphone.

In order to get high quality audio you're talking about including a bluetooth transmitter/receiver and high end DAC/Amp.

Honestly, earbuds are just garbage 90% of the time, invest in a good pair of headphones and a decent microphone.

I advise most gamers to look at their motherboard, if it includes a true high end DAC, they don't need to purchase an external model.

Current suggestions: the Schiit Fulla combination DAC/Amp to produce a nicer signal than most motherboards produce.

I really like the JVC HARX700 headphones, but there's a matter of preference to it. Sennheiser HD 202 headphones are exceptional value, but suffer from having 2 audio feed cables, making them a pain to get on and off. I like Sennheiser's 429s better for a couple extra bucks.

If you want to find your own model: brands you can trust are Audio-Technica, Sennheiser, JVC, AKG, Klipsch, Grado and Shure. Sony and Pioneer are good brands if you're willing to put in some research.

For a microphone, Blue microphones are currently widely regarded as good, but most stand mics will do just fine in a room that isn't too noisy. Getting a headset with good audio and a microphone is very difficult unfortunately.

Actually, coming down to it, good headphones are just expensive period with microphones. But you get better ones with cables involved and if you're already running a cable for the microphone I don't see any harm in another for the headphones.
