Will I notice a difference in speed if I switch from 1866 MHZ to 2400 MHZ?

Notice a difference in what? Normal tasks like browsing the web? No absolutely not. Games? Maybe, in most games I have seen system ram speed makes very little difference, some games like fallout 4 for example you can gain a decent performance boost with faster system ram. The biggest gain you will see will likely be in synthetic benchmarks, and maybe some workloads that benefit from fast ram.

All depends on what you do and how you do it, some games use DRAM better and it can be noticible, if you multi-task it's noticible, apps that are memory centric or use large data sets yes, if a one thing at a time user, then generally no
