Graphics card doesnt work

So i got a Asus gtx 560 from MY brother and i installed it and MY pc starts like normally but the monitor says no signal and the graphics cards fan is spinning.What do i do?

Did you happen to go online and download the drivers for your new card? They should be available from Asus' site:

https://www.asus.com/Graphics-Cards/ENGTX560_DC2DI1GD5/HelpDesk_Download/

YOUR brother?!?!? i thought he was MY brother!!!!

just kidding. anyways...

did you connect it to your power supply with the PCIe power cords?

did you connect the monitor to the video card and not the motherboard?

does your power supply have enough wattage to actually run that card?

I connected 2 6pin pci e cables To MY graphics card
And i connected the monitor to the graphics card
And MY psu has enough wattage for the graphics card
