Hey everyone,

I recently reinstalled Windows 7 on the "old" pc my dad used for graphic designing to clear it out and make it my own. Before reinstalling i had sound coming through my hdmi connection into the tv. After reinstalling i downloaded some realtek drivers ( not sure what drivers i had before since i was kinda rushing it :chaudar: ) and the hdmi did nothing. I even tried plugging in some earbuds and they gave a continous buzzing sound. So my question is if any of you guys know how to either fix this or find the right drivers needed for my pc.
Cheers~

Yup, i updated my video card but it did nothing. I've been looking into it a bit more and noticed how it says that my HDMI audio is not plugged in according to the playback manager. I looked into this problem but did not manage to find any solution ( nothing i could find in the bios/plugging in the hdmi after startup etc ) but I've yet to find a solution. I can post my specs if that's of any use for you.

I've managed to get the HDMI to appear as it being plugged in but i still have no sound and it says that the device is being used by another application whenever i try to use test. The name changed from ATI High Definition Audio Device to AMD High Definition Adutio device though, so it might be an AMD related problem?
