Alright so my internet speed is pretty fast and I have many devices using the internet.All of them have high speeds.But only my personal computer has very slow download speeds and the slowness seems to be with only downloading because browsing is pretty fast.I tried everything.I use a wireless USB adapter but I switched it with Ethernet connection to see if it gets any faster.Yes it actually did but download speeds were very slow yet and way slower than expected download speeds.When I used an adapter the download speed was like 40 KBps but after using ethernet I got like 100 KBps.But I should be getting about 2-3 MBps.I did many speed tests but speedtest results are pretty fast.
Now here I have something interesting.So one night I was doing another speed test on speedtest.net.I decided to check my download speed at the same time with my task manager's performance panel open which showed my WiFi's download and upload speed.Normally my task manager shows download speeds that are extremely slow unlike speed test.net which shows my speeds high.My task manager showed slow speeds as usual until I began the test.The moment I began the speed test, speeds my task manager showed increase A LOT.I was getting the expected download speed which was shown in both the task manager and speed test.net.As soon as the speed test was finished the download speed shown on my task manager dropped again.Download speeds became over slow again.
I've tried everything.I've run virus scans,checked my drivers,did a system restore on my computer and also checked for apps such AMD Quick Stream that may limit my internet speed.But still no luck.
I have been trying to find a fix everyday.I stay awake till late night searching for a fix but no luck.Plz if anyone can help me,please do.Any advice,suggestion would help.I really need help.
